New research from In-Stat reveals that the government vertical is among the strongest industry verticals for VoIP adoption. Based on In-Stat’s study, 48% of respondents in government institutions reputation that VoIP is deployed in at least one location. The inquiry reveals interesting distinctions among key upright segments.
“Overall, integration is more critical than cost nest egg,” says Norm Bogen, In-Stat inquiry frailty president. “However, cost is most critical in the pedagogy section, piece scalable features and capabilities are most important in the government activity section.”
The recent research by In-Stat found:
* Verizon is the most cited Current Broadband IP Telephony Provider among government activity institutions, with a commanding lead over other providers.
* AT&T has the leadership situation as a provider of IP Centrex solutions across size of it of stage business and vertical markets.
* Cisco is the IP PBX market leader in all segments, but particularly in education.
* The healthcare upright is the strongest adoptive parent of IP handsets.
* Hosted IP Centrex has appealingness with government and healthcare segments, cited significantly more in these segments compared to the professional services or educational segments.
