Yesterday a report went out that carriers were experiencing return rates on the BlackBerry Tour approaching fifty due to the trackball malfunctioning, but Verizon (New York Stock Exchange: VZ) and Sprint (NYSE: S) have today both denied the figure; Verizon even went so far to say that the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 9630 has a lower berth-than-norm reappearance pace. I’d really like to believe that those who have had troubles with the trackball ar a vocal minority, but the sheer book of corroborating complaints is really disconcerting.
