T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) loves Android. They were the first wireless carrier to offer an Android earpiece. They’ve been offering Android phones ever since. LG, on the other hand, hasn’t really made a name for itself in the Android quad. The two don’t really seem like logical Android partners, but new rumors have LG and T-Mobile River in negotiation to make an Android earpiece for the US. Telecoms Korean Peninsula says that T-Mobile River recently sent some of its people to LG’s southland Korean military headquarters, so this rumor has some meat to it.
Motorola (NYSE: MOT) has their Droid. Samsung has the Behold II. HTC has the Hero, with the Passion/Draco on the way. It’s about metre LG put option a capable Android rival in the band. Of course, that’s assuming this rumors pans out. We’ll hopefully have more information soon.
