Sprint 4G Available in Atlanta, Las Vegas and Portland

Sprint today announced the launching of Sprint 4G mobile broadband throughout the battle of Atlanta subway surface area, Las Vegas and Portland. Sprint 4G delivers peak downlink speeds of more than 10 Mbps and norm downlink speeds of 3-6 Mbps.

In addition to Atlanta, Las Vegas and Portland, Sprint plans to deploy Sprint 4G inspection and repair in these additional markets in 2009: Newmarket, IL; Dallas, Ft. Worth, City of Brotherly Love, PA; Austin, Texas; Abilene, Texas; Amarillo, Lone-Star State; capital of Idaho, Gem State; Bellingham, Wash.; The Queen City, N.C.; Corpus Christi, Texas; Greensboro, N.C.; capital of Hawaii, HI; Killeen-Temple, Texas; Lubbock, Lone-Star State; Maui Island, HI; Midland-Odesa, Texas; capital of North Carolina, N.C.; capital of Oregon, Ore.; San Antonio, Texas; Seattle, WA: Waco, Texas; and Wichita Falls, Lone-Star State. In 2010, Sprint expects to launching service in multiple markets, including Hub of the Universe, Houston, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
