Over the summertime, we got a peep at the first base eco earpiece from Sony Ericsson (New York Stock Exchange: SNE), but today the GreenHeart family grows by II devices and a Bluetooth headset. Both the Hazel and Elm are made out of recycled plastics, and the only real difference between the two is shape factor (Elm is a candybar, Hazel is a Pseudemys scripta). Here’s what they have in common:
5 megapixel photographic camera with autofocus and light-emitting diode flash lamp 240 x 320 showing 280 MB of storage, with microSD storage circuit card support 430 hours of understudy, 4 hours talk time on GPRS A-Global Positioning System, Wi-Fi, Stereo Bluetooth
Software-wise, they become preloaded with TrackID, MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube apps, as fountainhead as a pedometer diligence to shuffling you tactile property warm and fuzzy about walk everywhere. Between the camera, the greenitude, and the likely first cost breaker point, these are some pretty nice handsets.
SE has also dedicated themselves to devising all of their accessories compliant with the GreenHeart programme by 2011, and punctuates the breaker point with the annunciation of the VH700 Noise Shield Handsfree Bluetooth headset. It’s a simpleton little headset with an optional stereo fastening, but also allows you to connect two phones to it via Bluetooth, and has some solidness haphazardness cancellation thanks to a second microphone.
The Elm volition be available in Q1 2010, piece the Hazel volition be out a little routine later with the VH700 in Q2. To learn more about Sony Ericsson’s GreenHeart initiative, smasher up their minisite.
