Word has been spreading about RIM’s touchscreen/QWERTY gimmick code-named Magnum (or, more recently, Dakota) for some meter, with little other than whispers to corroborate the selective information. This image of the rumoured BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) has popped up on twitter, and looks just about exactly as you’d expect – Bold stylings, subtraction any signboard of a trackpad or trackball. Kevin asserts that this is a preproduction model and the final product will likely vary significantly, but this painting at least solidifies that the BlackBerry Magnum undertaking is still alive and well. RIM is likely to implement their SurePress clicking touchscreen again, which, through some growing striving, has improved over its iterations on the Storm serial. Despite the advancement made on the technology, many remainder-users rich person trouble purchasing into the conception, but with any luck, the inclusion body of a proper physical keypad volition provide hardened BlackBerry fans the typewriting efficiency they so often requirement.
