Orange River has announced that it is introducing three new mobile gambling offerings, building on its position it believes it has as the number 1 operator for mobile gambling. The offerings are called Playtomo, Games Zone, and Orange iPhone Games, and ar described as:
Playtomo, a sociable gambling service allowing all UK customers to play games for free people and contribution the merriment with friends through sociable networking sites on their mobile phones (went live on 29th March 2010)Games Zone, a subscription gaming service offering Orange River customers two free people games each calendar month, exclusive competitions and twenty price reduction on additional purchases (launches today)Orange River iPhone Games, giving all UK iPhone customers access to mobile games designed and produced by Orange River, available to download from the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) App Store (available from late April)

Well it’s certainly a strong pushing from Orange River, that’s for sure. Is gambling where it’s distillery at though, given the buzz has been around ‘Apps’ for a while now?Granted, there ar many Apps that are games, but equally there are a huge range of Apps out there that straddle productiveness, utilities, and so on.
