If there’s one thing David Beckham does well, it’s sitting for Motorola’s mobile earphone ads. That and playing football game, we suppose. This time around, David Beckham is working with Motorola (New York Stock Exchange: MOT test) to sell the $2,000 Motorola AURA. The high gear-end Motorola AURA French telephone has been available since the remainder of shoemaker’s last year, but we tin’t imagine that Motorola has sold many of these 4-design mobile phones. Of course of action, that may all change, now that Beckham has officially endorsed the AURA.
The new publicizing campaign, entitled “The AURA of David Beckham” (get it?), will be hitting European airwaves sometime during the remainder of Apr. In it, we see a cyborged-out Jacques Louis David Beckham clutching a Motorola AURA as if it were part of his body. Beckham goes on to say that he loves “classic watches, so a phone that exposes its mechanism while also being so stylish is really unique. When you clasp it, it feels like you have something really special in your helping hand.”
We’re not going to be sold on a $2,000 cellular telephone just because a famous athlete puts their official seal-of-approval on said handset, but there mightiness just be enough wellspring-heeled (female) Euro-types volition to carapace out the bigger bucks to “be like Beckham.”
