New iPhone OS 3.0 beta hints at ‘Find My iPhone’ MobileMe app

With the release of the latest iPhone OS 3.0 beta 4, we’re acquiring confirmation that Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) will be construction out a new MobileMe vane-app to documentation the “Find My iPhone” localization-tracking feature in the upcoming iPhone 3.0 OS. The “Find My iPhone” feature hasn’t yet been announced by Apple, but there’s little dubiousness that the next major iPhone OS update volition allow iPhone users to running the location of their handset through MobileMe.

The latest iPhone OS 3.0 beta indicates that the “Find My iPhone” feature will be tied to a web-app in MobileMe. Using electric cell-tugboat triangulation and Global Positioning System coordinates, “Find My iPhone”В  can running the iPhone’s physical location in real-time and will presumably bowling pin-distributor point that information in MobileMe.
