And yet, the Motorola DROID’s update to 2.1 is nowhere to be found. Never mind that the Milestone came out after the DROID, because it looks like the European cousin of the Verizon Wireless French telephone has gone ahead and moved on to the Over-the-Air (OTA) updates that we all know and lovemaking. What’s that mean? Basically, it’s no thirster stuck in just Hong Kong or Macao regions, and you father’t have to download anything. The update should just roll-out to your device when it’s good and ready.
Users are coverage that they have been given prompts that the update is available to launch. It’s somewhere in the ballpark of 148MB to download, but shouldn’t return too long to download (as long as you’re on WiFi). The update is delivery the coveted Live Wallpapers to the Milestone, along with the baseball club dwelling panels, some new applications, and Motorola’s Car Home interface, which is specifically designed for usage piece in the car. We’re going to rich person to assume that doesn’t mean value you should use it while you’re drive, though. So . . . Don River’t.
There isn’t any tattle how long it will return to cast out over the other European countries, but the updates seem to be advent in at a sweetheart clipping. Where does Canada fit into all of this? We regard we knew. Hopefully person up in the North will let us know if they’re start to see the update roll out to them, or if their carriers are being a act more stingy with the good. If you’ve got the functionary update from Motorola, please let us know what you think.
