Looks like Virgo the Virgin Mobile River (which is now owned by Sprint (New York Stock Exchange: S)) is aggressively pursuing the texting gang as it is rumored to be launching some cheap plans that include unlimited texts, e-mails and information.

The lowest package volition reportedly price $25 per calendar month for the unlimited whatsis above and 300 proceedings of talk time. You can also pay $40 for 1,200 proceedings and unlimited messaging and information, or just plop down $60 a month for unlimited everything. If you’re a text-happy person (Virgo the Virgin Mobile’s staff of life and butter) you can probably get away with the lowest-tier plan without a trouble.

Who cares about the plans if the phones suck though, right? Well, Phone Arena said the prepaid carrier volition soon be offering the Kyocera (New York Stock Exchange: KYO) Loft for $70, the LG Rumor Touch for $150 and the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Curve 8530 for $300. Remember, those prices mean value you’ll be able to own the earpiece outright but the CDMA nature of the networks mean you won’t be able to payoff that phone to other carriers easily. You definitely can’t manipulation these on AT&T (NYSE: T) or T-Mobile River, and I’d be very surprised if Verizon (NYSE: VZ) would be cool and let you activate these devices on its network.

AT&T (NYSE: T) has started merchandising the WinMo and Snapdragon powered LG eXpo. The device which has all the nuts and bolts of a high gear-remainder smartphone could be yours for $199 after a $centred mail-in rabbet and with a 2-year contract bridge.

By “all the nuts and bolts” we mean value super-fast CPU (1 GHz), 3.2-in WVGA touchscreen, GPS, wireless local area network, side-slide QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel photographic camera with auto-focusing, HSDPA, and so on. The badness thing, however, is that the projector that should be available for leverage along with the eXpo is still not available. I’m guessing some Christmases rich person been ruined… ;(
