This trend of determination new shipway to get cell phones is definitely growing. When it comes to major launches for a wireless carrier here in the States, it used to be that you had to wait in line at 1 of the aircraft carrier’s corporate stores, and hold your fingers crossed that you’d get your custody on the prized possession. Not anymore. Now you rich person options, like C. H. Best Buy. And the company wants to make it even easier for the HTC EVO 4G: they’re departure to start pre-merchandising the device come this May.

Announced, and shown off, at shoemaker’s last workweek’s CTIA 2010, the HTC EVO 4G is the nation’s first 3G/WiMAX capable device. It’s also got the body of an HTC HD2, with a 4.3-in blind, and a 1GHz Snapdragon central processing unit under the bonnet. Android 2.1 is included in the package, including all those gorgeous Live Wallpapers. wireless local area network, GPS, HTC’s Sense User Interface, a 3.5mm audio jackass, 1GB of ROM, and 512MB of RAM. It’s a beast of a gimmick, and we’re sure that it’s going to be on many citizenry’s list come this Summer.

So, how does it work? Best Buy volition go ahead and pre-sell the gimmick for you in May, according to Android Community, but you will only get a gift circuit board for your troubles. And then, when Summer comes rolling through and Sprint finally officially launches the device, you can walk back into your Best Buy and finishing the motions to finally have your very own 4G gimmick. Of course, there’s no honorable mention of how much Sprint is departure to charge for the gimmick, net ball alone what Sprint wants for it. Plus, there’s also the fact that Sprint whitethorn charge more for their WiMAX connections, so be prepared for that.
