Barclays Capital’s Doug Anmuth: Google mightiness sell 5 to 6 million Nexus One phones this year

Barclays Das Kapital’s Doug Anmuth thinks that Google (NSDQ: GOOG) whitethorn be onto something with its own-branded phone. As a matter of fact, he believes the hunt giant star could move 5-6 1000000 devices in this year, only. That’s like nothing compared to iPhone’s projected gross sales for the year, which if everything goes as planned should hit the 30 1000000 bell ringer. Still, it’s an impressive design, which could bring Google an additional $2.5 one thousand million in gross sales (that’s 5 1000000 x $530). Of course of action, that’s a gross number and HTC will return a large cutting of that figure, but it proves a (business) logical system of devising your own earphone if you rich person such a sword like Google does.

Anyway, just like we did with the iPhone, we’ll shuffle sure every single Nexus One story is on IntoMobile. So if you maintenance – arrest tuned… Nah, stay tuned anyhow.
